Samsung has been making waves in the smartphone industry with their innovative foldable phones, and the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 5 is no exception. While official information has yet to be released, there have been several leaks about the device's specifications that have surfaced online.

One of the most notable differences between the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 4, is the size. The Fold5 is said to have a length of 154.9mm, a width of 129.9mm, and a thickness of 6.1mm. This makes it slightly smaller and thinner than the Fold 4, which had a length of 155.1mm, a width of 130.1mm, and a thickness of 6.3mm. The closed width remains the same at 67.1mm, while the closing thickness has been reduced to 13.4mm from 14.2~15.8mm, making it more compact.
Another leaked detail about the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is its weight. It is expected to weigh 254g, which is 9g lighter than the Fold 4, making it easier to carry around.
In terms of charging, both the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 have received 3C certification with 25W charging. However, it is speculated that they will support 45W charging, as the Samsung S23 Ultra was also spotted on 3C certification with 25W charging but ultimately supported 45W charging.
The external display of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is said to be the same size as the previous generation Fold 4, at 6.2 inches. However, it is unclear if there will be any improvements in the display quality or resolution.
While these leaks are not exciting, it's important to note that they are not official and may not be entirely accurate. It's best to wait for official information from Samsung before making any conclusions about the Galaxy Z Fold 5.
